Workshop session:

Our 2008 Makers days are focusing on marketing your work and selling. This session will consist of the following parts:


Marketing by Nicola Smith: A general overview of marketing – what/who/how do I do it!

15 minutes for discussion


Exhibiting and selling at Trade Fairs:

Talk by Gilly Langton (Jewellery Designer) and another speaker to

be confirmed


1.00pm – 2.00pm Lunch plus and the opportunity to network

Photography: A professional photographer (details to be confirmed) will be available during the day to document work that you want to bring along and to provide you with a CD of images that can be used for promotion, website etc. This is a wonderful opportunity to have professional quality work for a fraction of what you would need to pay normally. A maximum of 3 pieces can be photographed on the day. There will be a small charge of £25 for this service.




2.00pm – 4.00pm

One to one sessions with Pamela Conacher (4 x 30 minute


(sessions can be booked on attached form)


There is no charge for the day and lunch is included.

You can come for all or part of the day – just let us know when booking.
